The Piscary Rights to fish the River Arun from Waltham Common Brooks belong solely to the Parishioners of the Parish of Coldwaltham. This is set out in legal documents which were formulated under the Commons Registration Act 1965, copies are held by the Parish Council.
The land owner is Sussex Wildlife Trust. Only Coldwaltham parishioners have permission to fish the River Arun from/at Waltham Brooks.
