Horsham District Council is conducting a review of polling districts and polling places within its District. Additionally, the Returning Officer will comment on the proposed polling stations.
The Council’s proposals will be available for inspection on its website www.horsham.gov.uk or at the Council’s Offices, Parkside, Chart Way, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 1RL from 24 September 2019. The Returning Officer’s comments on the proposals will be available for inspection in the same locations from 14 October 2019.
The Council welcomes representations or comments on the existing provision of polling places and suggestions for alternative buildings that may be used as polling places from any elector within the Horsham District, or any person or body with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability. Please respond by sending an email to elections@horsham.gov.uk or by writing to the address below. All responses must be received by 11 November 2019. We are obliged to publish all responses we receive on the council website and to make printed copies available for public inspection.
Final proposals will be considered by the Council on 11 December 2019.
