This message is to advise you all that there is a TIPSOL European wide speed campaign taking place from 6am on Monday 17th April until midnight on Sunday 23rd April.
Please can I ask that you all bear this campaign in mind and try to facilitate checks in support of this campaign on your sites?
The aim of the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP) casualty reduction officers will be to get out in support of the valuable work that you all do by conducting enforcement work in areas of need highlighted by your returns on CSW online. We are unable to get to all of the sites that I would like to but we will get to as many as we can.
Roads policing officers will be targeting the main road network based on collision and offence data.
If any of your teams have access to social media please use #slowdown on Twitter messages and please monitor the SSRP Twitter account @sussexsrp and feel free to retweet any of our messages in relation to the campaign.
